Pharmacological properties
Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid. Penetrating into the cell nucleus and activates the genetic apparatus of the cell, resulting in increased synthesis of DNA, RNA and structural proteins, enzyme activation circuit tissue respiration and increased cell respiration, the oxidative phosphorylation, ATP synthesis and accumulation within the cell macro ergs. It stimulates anabolic processes and inhibits catabolism caused by glucocorticoid. Leads to increased muscle mass, decreased fat deposition, improving tropism tissues promotes calcium deposition in the bones, the body retains nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, potassium, sodium and water. Hematopoietic effects associated with increased synthesis of erythropoietin.

Anti-allergic effect due to the increase in the concentration C1 of complement fractions. Androgenic activity (high), may contribute to the development of secondary sexual characteristics of male type.
Violations of the synthesis of proteins, cachexia different origins; trauma, burns, pre- and postoperative periods after irradiation and infectious diseases; renal and adrenal insufficiency, toxic goiter, muscular dystrophy, osteoporosis, azoticty negative balance in corticosteroid therapy, hypo- or aplastic anemia. Adjuvant in the treatment of tuberculosis, osteomyelitis, asthma, hepatitis.

The women – virilization symptoms, inhibition of ovarian function, menstrual disorders, hyperkalemia.
Men: prepubertal – virilization symptoms of idiopathic hyperpigmentation of the skin, slowing or stopping growth (calcification of epiphyseal growth zones of long bones); post-pubertal – irritation of the bladder, gynaecomastia, priapism; in old age – hypertrophy and / or prostatic carcinoma.
Men and women – the progression of atherosclerosis, peripheral edema, diarrhea disorders, hepatic dysfunction with jaundice, changes in leukocyte formula pain in the long tubular bones, anticoagulation with a tendency to bleeding.

Hypersensitivity to the drug, prostate cancer, breast cancer in men, breast carcinoma in women with hyperkalemia, coronary artery disease, expressed atherosclerosis, liver and kidney failure, acute and chronic prostatitis, pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Overdose cases are not registered.

At the first signs of virilization in women (deepening of voice, hirsutism, acne, Clitoromegaly) should be discontinued in order to prevent irreversible changes. Periodically check the level of hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia.

Interactions with other drugs
Glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, corticotrophin, sodium-containing drugs and foods rich in sodium, potentiate the fluid retention in the body, increase the risk of edema, increase the severity of acne. It enhances the effects of antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, insulin and oral anti diabetic agents weakens – growth hormone and its derivatives.

Store at 15-25 ° C, in a dry, protected from light and out of reach of children.
